Mama Pasta Sauce: Mushroom And Nozawana Vegetable

During the Meiji era, Yokohama became one of the first Japanese ports open to foreigners and foreign foods like pasta! Since then, Japan has adapted and curated its own pasta dishes. This Japanese-esque pasta sauce is made with ingredients found not too far from home. Shiitake mushrooms, soy sauce, garlic, shredded seaweed, and nozawana (Japanese leafy green vegetable) all come together to create the perfect savory umami sauce that will compliment your rigatonis, pennes, and more!
