SKI Okonomiyaki Japanese Pancake Mix

Literally translating to "grilled as you like", okonomiyaki is a specialty of Osaka. These savory pancakes are easy to make - you just need the okonomiyaki mix base, and then you can go crazy with add-ins and toppings! Cabbage, ebi (shrimp), mayonnaise, bonito, you name it! We are excited to see the creations you come up with (tag us @bokksugrocery)!

Common Allergens: Tree Nuts, Wheat.

Directions for 5 delicious pancakes:

  1. Mix 1 packet (250g) of okonomiyaki flour with 2 large eggs and 230ml of water.
  2. Stir in fillings such as shredded cabbage and shrimp.
  3. Preheat a frying pan, griddle, or hotplate, and apply a small amount of oil. Pour in the mixture and shape into a circle.
  4. When the edges start to solidify, flip the pancake and cook for a further 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add desired toppings like Okonomi sauce, Kewpie mayo, bonito flakes, tenkasu tempura flakes (all available at Bokksu Grocery), and serve piping hot!
